Scott is the inventor of the U.S and Canadian patented “Well Gate Valve Un-Seizing Tool Technology and Process”. Scott is a well-known well head and valve service technician in southern Alberta who is also Valve Pro certified. Scott has an educational background in automotive technology, metallurgy, and mechanical system design. Scott prides himself in keeping up to date with the newest technologies and service procedures in his field of expertise. He has years of experience in the oilfield industry, including being the head technician and field service supervisor of a very large well head company in Brooks, Alberta.

The tool is referred to as the “wash over tool” by some companies and has made over 2100 wells operational again for various customers. With an un-heard of success rate of approximately 98%, various customers benefit from enormous savings in costs associated in resolving issues with seized valves.

Quality Assurance

We use only high quality Desco grease (the recommended industry standard) for the gate valve body. This type of grease has a high metal adhesion to lubricate and seal gates as it enters the valve body cavity. For sealing issues we use high quality Sealweld synthetic grease/sealant. This grease contains PTFE particles for aid in seal ability.
